Hermanus New Habour and Boat Sail.
As the tour begins on-land with an insight brief by our whale specialist guides, we then head down to catamaran. From the Harbor, we then set off on an adventure in search of the gentle giants. Onboard our friendly, knowledgeable crew and staff ensure an all-round great experience, making sure you are comfortable while enjoying serving complimentary light refreshments. Our Whale Specialist guides will interpret the marine life encountered on route and provide insight into the behavior of whales. Our permit entitles us to approach the whales up to 50m and then we stop to observe, it is then up to the whales to approach closer. Being naturally curious, the whales often come right up to the boat. While you capture the magical moments of these mammals in action on your smart devices and digital cameras, we will also have a videographer taking footage of your experience during the time the whales are jetting out and splashing water playfully.
